UK’s Permanent Representative to the EU (2013 – 2017), Chief EU Adviser to Prime Minister (2012-2013)
A senior British civil servant, Sir Ivan Rogers is one of the UK’s foremost experts on the European Union. He served as Principal Private Secretary to Prime Minister Tony Blair and in 2013 became UK Permanent Representative to the EU, working closely with Prime Minister David Cameron. He resigned in 2017 to allow a new team to negotiate the Brexit process.
