Alexey Osipov was born into the family of a Soviet military aviator. His higher education included degrees in Journalism, Jurisprudence and Communications, internships at universities in Britain and the USA, and a master’s degree in Switzerland.
From 2010 Osipov worked for Komsomolskaya Pravda Publishing House and headed the
presscentres in Bangkok, Tel Aviv, Milan and Stockholm. For the past four years, he
has been working as a staff correspondent of Komsomolskaya Pravda in New York.
He has interviewed many world leaders and celebrities, including US President Barack Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel, actress Brigitte Bardot and chess master Bobby Fischer, Ivanka Trump and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. He is one of the few journalists who has visited Guantanamo Bay detention camp and the Sultan of Brunei’s Palace.
He is the author of two books and several textbooks.
