Emmanuel Dupuy is President of the Institute of European Perspective & Security Studies – IPSE think tank – focused on ‘track two’ diplomacy and strategic prospective analysis, located in Paris, London, Brussels and Rabat. He is an associate Professor at the Université Paris-SudOrsay, specializing in war, peace and security studies, and security affairs in Central Asia, Africa and MENA region.
Dupuy is also a researcher associated with several institutes or research centers, working on military and strategic studies (China as a Special Researcher of Ningbo Maritime Silk Road Institute). He is General Delegate of the French Centrist Party, in charge of international affairs. Prior to these positions, he was political advisor of French forces in Afghanistan (2011) and advisor to two French Secretaries for Defence and Veterans Affairs (2008-2010).
