Born in 1981 in Leningrad, KseniaSobchak graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in  International Relations and a Master’s in Political Science from Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO).

Since 2005, Ksenia has been actively cooperating with federal TV channels and radio stations.

She was the presenter of various programs on Channel One Russia and Channel Five, on MuzTV, TNT, STS, NTV, TV3, and on the channels Paytnitsa (Friday) and TV Rain. She conducted investigations and carried out several important interviews, including M. Saakashvili, A. Lukashenko and P. Astakhov on TV Rain. She was the author of the documentary “Death at the End of the Tunnel” in 2014.

Over the past decade, Ksenia has published six books; she was the director of special projects of the magazine Snob, publisher of the magazine GQ, editor-in- chief of MAX and SNC.

Currently she is editor-in- chief of the magazine L’Officiel Russia.

Ksenia Sobchak took part in the Russian presidential election campaign in March 2018 as the candidate of the party Civil Initiative. She took fourth place, with over 1,200,000 votes.
